In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top news and magazines applications in Australia showcased varied trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

X (Formerly Twitter) from X Corp. saw its weekly revenue peak at around $55K in late April, with fluctuations throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from approximately 9.6K to 15.6K, while active users decreased from 1.9M to 1.6M.

ABC NEWS experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, reaching up to 7K in late April. Active users showed an upward trend, peaking at approximately 968K in early June.
